Product Description Pro-Pest Pheronet Traps for Pantry Pests are our Pheronet Traps conveniently packaged in a 2 pack. The pheromones in Pro-Pest Pantry Traps will attract Indian Meal Moth, Almond, Raisin, Tobacco, and Mediterranean Flour Moths and Cigarette Beetles.
Each package contains 2 traps. Take one or two traps out of the plastic sleeve, fold trap into a triangular trap. Since pheromones are pre-loaded in the glue, it is ready to use! Traps can be hung or can be placed on a shelf. If you smoke wash your hands before handling any trap as the nicotine could contaminate the trap causing the pests to avoid the trap rather than pursue it!

Can't believe how well it worked September 4, 2010 FaxModem2000 I was skeptical at first but I was amazed as soon as the mailman dropped off my order. As soon as I started to open the padded envelope they arrived in, I was being swarmed by horny moths. I mean it was freaking scary. A minute later after I placed the first trap, it already caught 5 or more moths. What I do is to maximize its potential is to set one trap down and put two regular glue traps at each opening. So not only do they get trapped when they enter the trap, they get trapped on the way in.
Now my search and destroy missions are more effective since I'm only killing the females while the males kill themselves.
What I like to do instead of using a fly swatters for the females is to trap them in there as well. I just cover them with one opening of the trap and seal off the other end. Wait for her to fly around until she's trapped. I know the're females because a few of them started to lay eggs in the trap. Now I have idiot males flying in there trying to fertilize the eggs and getting trapped.
Flour moths from parrot food July 26, 2010 John Doe (NE USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
When I opened the package I wondered where is the tiny pheromone bait ? I wanted it only for Flour moths & later read the manufacturer is trying to multi function & attract many types of moths . This Product is awful moths run away from it . a fly swatter would do more . I want to know which country makes each product here as well . I am not an entomologist , However I bet the pheromones are also from preditors mixed in ( supposedly ) the glue . This does not work It has cost me $10.00 per moth it has attracted . If you have a bird Do Not use this product it is useless . It may work on other types but flour moths run away from it. I am looking into a refund as soon as I type this . PS why no options for zero stars ?Pantry Moth Traps - Set of Two
AMAZING for Meal Moths July 24, 2010 Nancy S. Gray 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We've had an Indian Meal Moth problem in our garage for the last 2-3 months. They are EVERYWHERE. I would vaccum them up, only to find more the next day. We went through and cleaned everything that we could, but they just kept popping up. We bought a pack of these and they have been out for 10 minutes. We've already caught 15 moths!!! The second I walked into the garage with the traps, there was a swarm of moths around--it was truly shocking. I'll post a follow-up in a few weeks. So far, the traps work as described! Another reviewer noted that you should handle these traps with gloves and immediately throw the packaging away. I would agree! I opened the envelope in my office and now have a random moth or two fluttering around in here (even though I took everything out to the trash).
Attracts moths like crazy July 10, 2010 A. Zak (Brooklyn, NY, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Before I even took it out of the packaging, moths were flying around it. I have a parrot and his birdfeed has caused quite a big infestation in my apartment, and these traps help the problem.
Notice that I say help, not solve. These traps attract only male moths (though a crapload of them), so the larvae and eggs and female moths are still alive and kickin'. I'm afraid this moth problem will never be solved, but these traps certainly are very good. My trap becomes full after about two weeks.
These traps work (I bought two brands and this one is far superior), but it is quite pricey. Oh well.
Very effective July 3, 2010 Authoregina 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have tried several other brands. This is the first brand to wipe out the moth population.
