Not as happy as with my previous bonjour frother July 16, 2010

My previous frother fell into the disposal and broke. I was eager to buy another Bonjour model. Although this froths as well as the previous one, I find it is rather difficult to operate. One has to really press down hard on the push button to keep the motor going. Even the slighest change in pressure stops the motor. I find this really annoying and am debating if I will write Bonjour to complain about this defect.

I was very excited to receive my frother for Christmas. However, within the first month, it fell over in the stand on the counter. The top part sealing in the batteries became separated, and the frother 'wheel' at the bottom fell off. I put it back together, but now I always have to hold it together when I use it. This morning I lost the wheel (again) in my coffee cup. I am disappointed because it seemed so heavy duty and powerful. The frothing part works well if I hold it together.

The unit makes great froth BUT it takes four batteries and it is heavy and difficut to reassemble once the batteries are installed. It is also very difficut to push down and maintain the pressure on the frothing mechanism. I do not reccommend this product if you have arthritis in your hands or fingers.

This little compact, portable product was easy to use, quick and very easy to clean. It whips up a batch of froth from skim milk in no time at all. The only thing I did not like about it was the battery compartment was very hard to close.
Overall a very good product at an inexpensive price.
